Terms & Conditions
These terms apply to the use of the Conqueror app, the admin website, this website, and enrolment in the programs of Conqueror Speed Skating Academy ("the Academy"). By using them you agree to these terms. Please also read our Privacy Policy.
1. Who can use the app
The app is for parents/guardians and staff registered with the Academy. Accounts are created by the Academy against your registered mobile number. You must be an adult to hold an account, and must keep your login PIN private. Tell us immediately if you think someone else has access.
2. Enrolment and training
- Enrolment is for a named student in a specific batch and branch, subject to availability.
- Students must follow coach instructions, arrive on time and wear the required protective gear (helmet, knee, elbow and wrist guards) and suitable footwear.
- The Academy may move a student between batches, or ask a student to stop, for safety or conduct reasons.
3. Health and safety
Skating and other sports carry a risk of injury. By enrolling a child, the parent/guardian confirms the child is medically fit to take part and will tell the Academy about any condition that may affect participation. In an emergency we will seek medical help and contact the parent. To the extent permitted by law, the Academy is not liable for injuries arising from ordinary participation in sporting activity, except where caused by our negligence.
4. Fees and payments
- Monthly fees and any registration fee are shown in the app. Fees are due by the date shown on the invoice.
- You can pay online through Cashfree, or pay by UPI/bank/cash and upload proof for the Academy to verify. A payment is confirmed only once the Academy approves it or the gateway confirms it.
- Fees paid are generally non-refundable. If you are charged twice for the same fee, tell us and we will refund the extra amount at the Academy.
- Products such as shoes and gear are sold at the Academy desk, paid at the time of sale, and shown read-only in the app.
5. Attendance and leave
Attendance is recorded by coaches and parents are notified through the app. Please submit leave notices in advance through the app where possible. Missed sessions are not automatically refunded or carried forward.
6. Competitions
The Academy may recommend students for competitions. Entry is optional and needs the parent's consent. Event fees, travel and equipment costs are separate and will be shared in advance. Selection and results are decided by coaches and event organisers, and we cannot guarantee any result.
7. Messages, photos and conduct
- Announcements and notes sent to parents are reviewed by an Academy approver.
- Photos or videos of students may be used on Academy channels only with the parent's consent, which can be withdrawn at any time.
- Do not misuse the app, attempt to access other people's data, or upload unlawful or offensive content. We may suspend access for misuse.
8. Availability and changes
We try to keep the app running but do not promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may update the app, these terms or our fees; material changes will be notified in the app or at the Academy. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it.
9. Ending your account
You may stop using the app and request account deletion as described in the Privacy Policy. The Academy may close accounts of students who have left or that breach these terms.
10. Limitation and governing law
To the extent permitted by law, the Academy's liability for the app is limited to the fees you paid in the preceding three months. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and courts at Chennai, Tamil Nadu have jurisdiction.
